Pirelli has introduced Mario Isola is leaving his position as its head of motorsports, which incorporates managing its Components 1 programme, with Dario Marrafuschi his alternative.
Isola had been in his position as Pirelli’s F1 programme supervisor since 2017, when he took over from Paul Hembery. In 2021 he grew to become the general motorsports director for the Italian producer. However on the eve of the 2026 season, Isola will step down from his position earlier than leaving the corporate altogether on 1 July.
“Pirelli declares that, efficient March 1st, Dario Marrafuschi will develop into head of Pirelli’s motorsport enterprise unit changing Mario Isola, who will present help till July 1st to make sure a easy and efficient transition,” Pirelli said. “Isola will then go away the corporate to pursue new skilled challenges.
“The corporate needs to thank Mario Isola for the dedication and nice ardour with which he has contributed to the expansion of the motorsport enterprise unit through the years.”
Pirelli joined Components 1 in 2011, with its newest contract working till the tip of 2027 together with a one-year choice.
