Lewis Hamilton has responded to the rumours linking him to a Ferrari exit on the finish of 2026, sharing particulars on the size of his contract and when extension negotiations would normally start.
The seven-time champion signed a multi-year contract with the Maranello outfit for the beginning of the 2025 season. Since becoming a member of the workforce, Hamilton has struggled to adapt to such a change. After Haas rookie driver Oliver Bearman impressed with a fourth-place end on the Mexico Grand Prix, rumours started to flow into suggesting the 20-year-old may substitute Hamilton at Ferrari for the 2027 season.
Hamilton shot the rumours down forward of the Brazil Grand Prix.
