Shane van Gisbergen was concerned in a giant crash that led to a purple flag halfway by way of the second stage of the NASCAR San Diego race.
The Trackhouse Racing driver began on the pole. He received three-wide on a restart on Flip 1 of Lap 31 with Austin Hill and Connor Zilisch. However van Gisbergen backed out. Hill was unable to make the nook flip and pinched Zilisch in opposition to the wall, inflicting a giant crash that additionally collected van Gisbergen.
Commercial
The harm was so extreme to van Gisbergen’s No. 97 Trackhouse Racing Chevrolet that he took it straight to the storage.
Zilisch was additionally knocked out of the race.
