Pink Bull crew principal Laurent Mekies has spoken out on Pierre Gasly’s reinstated Monaco Grand Prix podium, which has taken away Isack Hadjar’s third place in Monte Carlo.
A number of drivers had been handed penalties for allegedly rushing within the pitlane in Monaco. Whereas the vast majority of these drivers served their penalties through the race, Gasly didn’t, so the time penalty was added after the race. The penalties dropped the Frenchman from P3 to P7, selling Hadjar to 3rd place.
