INDIANAPOLIS – Tensions flared between Romain Grosjean and Marcus Armstrong following Saturday’s Sonsio Grand Prix on the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
After getting out of his automobile, Grosjean — who completed twenty first within the race — approached the pit field of Armstrong — who completed eleventh. Video captured outdoors of Armstrong’s pit field reveals Grosjean making his option to confront Armstrong after initially being held again by members of Armstrong’s No. 66 pit crew.

“Get off,” Grosjean mentioned to the crew members in a video captured by Racer Journal. “I used to be going to speak to him. I used to be going to say I need to punch you.”
Grosjean ultimately bought face-to-face with Armstrong whereas crew members stepped between them.
“I’ve by no means punched anybody in my life,” he proceeded to say.
It’s unclear what prompted the dispute between the 2 drivers, who completed 10 spots aside within the race and whose pit packing containers have been 10 spots away from each other.
“He fancied a little bit of a fist combat, truly,” Armstrong instructed Fox. “A little bit of UFC, a little bit of MMA — one thing I am not accustomed to. However hey, what, I’ve bought like a 350-pound fueler who was like proper behind me, so truthful play to Romain, he is bought some balls for making an attempt to assault me with him behind me.”
Grosjean just isn’t believed to have truly struck Armstrong.
