Former Components 1 driver has thrown his assist behind Jonathan Wheatley to take the workforce principal position at Aston Martin, following his exit from the F1 venture.
Audi confirmed on 20 March that Wheatley had left his position of workforce principal with instant impact on account of private causes, after solely becoming a member of the outfit in 2025.

Following the Briton’s exit, he has been linked to a transfer to Aston Martin. Motorsport understands that Adrian Newey will step again from his workforce principal duties to concentrate on his tasks as managing technical accomplice.
