Kimi Antonelli’s father, Marco Antonelli, thanked workforce chief and CEO Toto Wolff after he watched his son declare his maiden System 1 victory on the Chinese language Grand Prix.
The 19-year-old began the second race of the season from pole place and battled in opposition to his team-mate and Ferrari’s and to defend his lead.

Whereas he fought again tears throughout his post-race interview, his father was equally as emotional.
“Sure, after all. Toto did all the pieces,” Antonelli Sr advised Sky Sports activities F1, to which Wolff responded: “No, no. I believe we did it collectively. Kimi, as a driver and as a persona, is due to the household. His mom, Veronica, and Marco, it is such a strong base of a household. Antonelli added: “We tried to do one of the best for our son, however Mercedes did an enormous job. I can say solely thanks.

Whereas Antonelli had reached an enormous profession milestone on the Shanghai Worldwide Circuit, his father is lifelike in regards to the expectations of the younger Italian driver combating for the drivers’ championship.
