Christian Horner has spoken out about his exit from Purple Bull Racing in the course of the eighth season of Netflix’s Drive to Survive.

When requested if he thought the Verstappens had something to do with the choice, Horner added: “[Max Verstappen’s] father has by no means been my greatest fan. He is been outspoken about me. However I do not consider that the Verstappens had been accountable in any manner.
“I believe this was a call that was made by Oliver Mintzlaff, with Helmut advising from the sideline. I believe in the end issues modified throughout the enterprise, throughout the group.
