“We had a mega comeback in Zandvoort and Singapore to get ourselves inside 9 factors. That’s one thing that I feel lots of people wouldn’t have anticipated – not even Doriane! I feel from that facet we could be very happy with ourselves and we are going to push till the tip to win this title.”

She added: “It’s not the most effective place to be in, however ultimately, we’re in a robust place. We’re coming off a really sturdy final two races, so we’ve the momentum.
“We’ve got the mentality to win. The momentum is a very powerful – we’ve been actually fast and catching up lots. We’re in a spot the place we can provide all of it as a result of there’s nothing to lose.”
