In last follow it was a tenth of a second that separated them (in comparison with the 0.025sec and 0.032sec from FP1 and FP2), with Max Verstappen in third, simply 0.181sec off Norris’s final tempo. Mercedes’ Kimi Antonelli was in fourth, however half a second slower than Norris with Charles Leclerc, Carlos Sainz and Isack Hadjar all between 0.554sec and 0.611sec adrift.
What was intriguing, although, and runs opposite to what we noticed in Friday follow, was that the groups struggled to enhance when transferring from the medium tyres to the tender tyres. Yesterday there was a transparent distinction in what they supplied.
