Liam Lawson’s sluggish begin to the 2025 Formulation 1 season has value him his seat at Purple Bull.
In response to a number of experiences, Purple Bull has made a driver swap simply two race weekends into the season, with Yuki Tsunoda transferring to Purple Bull forward of the Japanese Grand Prix. Lawson will take Tsunoda’s spot at Visa Money App Racing Bulls.

Lawson earned the spot alongside Max Verstappen final winter, when the group determined to half methods with Sergio Pérez after a lackluster 2024 marketing campaign.
