Tsunoda reveals confusion over misheard “beaver” radio message

Yuki Tsunoda revealed he misheard a radio message warning a few unfastened mirror on the observe throughout the Qatar Grand Prix and thought he’d been advised there was a beaver.

Requested by Motorsport.com if he had seen the mirror, Tsunoda stated: “Was it mirror? I heard beaver.

“My engineers stated: ‘There is a beaver.’ However why is there a beaver within the Center East? Like how is it potential a beaver is within the Center East?

Pink Bull boss Christian Horner joked afterwards concerning the distinction between listening to mirror and beaver: “That’s fairly a change….”

McLaren’s Lando Norris was given a 10s stop-go penalty, for which he accepted fault after ending tenth within the race.

“There was the double yellow and a few vehicles behind did not actually comply with it,” he stated.

“So we’ve got to revise that within the subsequent drivers’ briefing that some driver does respect it, and a few driver does not respect it. That is very unfair.”

Lack of race tempo
