Following a difficult opening half of the 2026 System 1 season, Haas driver Esteban Ocon has shared his plans for the summer time break.
The Frenchman at the moment sits seventeenth within the drivers’ standings on three factors following the Hungarian Grand Prix, along with his finest results of the season a ninth place on the Monaco Grand Prix. He picked up the opposite level with a tenth place on the Japanese Grand Prix.
In an interview with Euronews Journey, Ocon particulars his plans for a summer time break reset. “Throughout the summer time break, I like being on the water with family and friends. I normally spend a quiet week on the boat in both Greece, Italy or the south of France.
“After the depth of the primary half of the season, that simplicity is precisely what I have to chill out and unwind and spend just a few consecutive days with family members.”
The 29-year-old takes a special strategy to the winter break. “Within the winter, I like to remain at dwelling for the vacations, practice at my efficiency centre, and actually prepare for the upcoming season,” he added. “I could plan a brief weekend someplace as nicely, particularly for New 12 months’s Eve.”
