Bubba Wallace went from a top-three end to the tail finish of the lead lap on July 13 on the NASCAR Atlanta race.
Wallace was penalized postrace of the Quaker State 400. Wallace was working third on the final lap behind Ryan Blaney and Carson Hocevar when he zoomed to the within of Hocevar however went under the yellow line. He got here again above the road and was three huge with Hocevar and Ryan Blaney. Wallace completed second in actual time earlier than he was penalized by NASCAR for advancing his place by going under the yellow line. He completed twenty ninth.
