System 1’s pre-race drivers’ parade for the British Grand Prix took a hilarious activate Sunday when a number of drivers beached their LEGO minicars within the Silverstone gravel traps.
The grid was tasked with finishing the normal lap of the circuit in custom-built, driveable LEGO karts. Able to speeds as much as 25km/h, the heavy brick-built machines proved too gradual for lots of the drivers. A number of drivers tried to chop the nook to achieve a bonus over their rivals, however as an alternative turned beached within the gravel.

Because the marshals needed to intervene to retrieve the LEGO karts, the carnage continued all through the lap. , who was one of many drivers who deserted his kart within the gravel, hopped onto the facet of his former team-mate Lando Norris’s kart for the rest of the lap.
Footage of the race had already amassed 1.2 million views and over 28,000 likes on X on the time of writing.
