Apple has launched a brand new characteristic for Apple Maps customers for the upcoming Components 1 Australian Grand Prix.
The updates come as Apple prepares for its first season because the unique broadcaster of the sequence in the US. The brand new options embody detailed circuit maps with lifelike kerbs, 3D grandstands, all 14 turns numbered on the map, 3D landmarks of the F1 pit garages and the end line, amongst others.
There may also be new experiences for customers attending the season-opening Australian Grand Prix, similar to pop-up places for entrance gates, facilities, water stations, first assist, merchandise stands and strolling instructions to the grandstands.
At this stage, the brand new options are just for the Australian Grand Prix, which can run from 6-8 March, however it has been promised for extra races all through the 2026 season.
F1 introduced the brand new multi-year partnership with Apple as its unique broadcaster in the US in October 2025.
