Anthony Alfredo’s No. 62 Beard Motorsports Chevrolet failed post-race inspection after the , and Alfredo is not going to race within the .
NASCAR made the announcement following the duel qualifying races on Feb. 12. BJ McLeod will take his place within the Daytona 500 discipline.

Alfredo drove to an 18th-place end within the second Daytona Duel race, initially making the Daytona 500 because the highest-finishing open entry.
However a cooler hose was discovered not linked on Alfredo’s automobile throughout post-race inspection, Cup Sequence director Brad Moran stated.
