2016 System 1 champion has urged his former team-mate not to surrender on or retire from the sequence after his powerful first season with the Maranello outfit.
Hamilton has struggled to adapt to Ferrari since becoming a member of in 2025, which has led to questions on his future within the championship.

The Briton has made it clear he’s keen to place the present rules behind him and look forward to 2026.
“I believe he has to proceed,” Rosberg informed Sky Sports activities F1. “Stopping now shouldn’t be cool. He solely simply began this Ferrari mission. To surrender after just one season does not work.
“He has to proceed, give it one other shot and hope he feels snug in that next-year automotive. Perhaps the automotive is an effective automotive? This 12 months’s automotive shouldn’t be nice. His nice wrestle this 12 months was qualifying tempo.

“Within the race there was flashes of brilliance that we stored seeing. It is simply qualifying tempo and with the automotive being so totally different subsequent 12 months, possibly he can discover a few of that previous magic once more in qualifying. The hope remains to be there, positively.”

Whereas Hamilton’s post-race interview following the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix was pretty doom and gloom, he claimed that the fervour of his followers, the help round him and his love for racing are what push him to maintain going.
