The Mercedes Components 1 staff has celebrated Doriane Pin’s F1 Academy championship victory by placing up a billboard-style show on the staff’s headquarters in Brackley.
The staff shared a video of Pin seeing the show for the primary time. “SURPRISE! Celebrating Doriane Pin’s F1 Academy title in fashion at Lauda Drive,” it wrote.
Pin arrived at Brackley to a heat welcome from the staff and a standing ovation.
The French driver claimed the F1 Academy title through the season-ending spherical in Las Vegas. She completed the season with 172 factors, 15 factors over championship rival Maya Weug.
“It’s unimaginable to be topped the F1 Academy champion. It feels so good to realize this and log out my time within the sequence in fashion,” the 21-year-old defined.
“I need to say a large thanks to everybody who has helped make this occur and those that have been a part of my journey because the begin of my profession.
“Ever since I joined the Mercedes Junior Driver Programme and Prema, it has been an excellent expertise. I’ve discovered a lot and grown as a driver and we at the moment are all champions right now!”

“Doriane’s story is nice, I am actually pleased for her,” staff chief Toto Wolff added. “She was sturdy all season, and that’s one thing to be happy with. I’m happy with Mercedes that we have been capable of obtain that together with her.”
Pin has been a part of the Mercedes Junior Group since 2024, when she entered her first season of the all-female racing sequence. She has beforehand competed in Components 4 UAE, Components 4 South East Asia, the FIA World Endurance Championship, European Le Mans Collection and Ferrari Problem Europe.
Successful the F1 Academy championship signifies that Pin will obtain a sizeable prize fund for a seat elsewhere subsequent season. Whereas she is not positive the place her future lies for the time being, she is keen to stick with Mercedes.
“We are able to resolve the place we need to go,” she instructed Goodwood. “We do not know but the place we’re going as a result of we completed the season in mid-November, so it is already late. We are going to, for positive, make some selections within the subsequent few weeks. The objective is hopefully staying with Mercedes, and we’ve a profitable profession collectively, and a protracted one.”
