One major element of Lando Norris’s contract extension with McLaren has caught the eye of Formulation 1 followers, who’ve branded the deal as “nicely deserved”.
The reigning F1 champion signed a contract extension to stay with McLaren till a minimum of the top of 2030. The 26-year-old, who secured his maiden drivers’ title in 2025, will even obtain his championship-winning MCL39 chassis as a part of the brand new settlement.
Having debuted for the Woking outfit in 2019, Norris has began extra grands prix for McLaren than some other driver, with 163. Over his profession to this point, the Briton has collected 13 grand prix wins, 48 podium finishes, 18 pole positions, 20 quickest laps, 1589 profession factors and one drivers’ championship.
