The house of Dennis Hamlin and Mary Lou Hamlin — the mother and father of NASCAR Cup Sequence veteran driver Denny Hamlin — caught hearth on Sunday evening.
In response to a report from WCNC in Charlotte, two individuals have been hospitalized. Gaston County officers haven’t launched the names of the occupants however Lucia-Riverbend Hearth Division Chief David Toomey advised the station that the Hamlins have been residents and the fireplace resulted in a whole loss.
WON ONE REAL ESTATE, LLC, owned by Denny Hamlin, is listed as proprietor of the property.
Toomey urged in a report by The Athletic that 40 to 45 % of the house was already burning upon hearth crews arriving on Sunday evening.
“That they had some actually costly automobiles within the storage and a few racing memorabilia and stuff, so all that was saved,” Toomey advised the Athletic. “We have been in a position to save all that and get it out so it wasn’t broken.”
Hamlin has but to remark publicly.
