F1: The Film producer Jerry Bruckheimer has confirmed that he has already met with Lewis Hamilton to debate a possible sequel to the blockbuster movie.
The film, starring Brad Pitt and Damson Idris, has virtually reached $630million on the international field workplace since its launch in June 2025. It follows nomadic driver Sonny Hayes, portrayed by Pitt, as he returns to System 1 with the struggling crew APXGP alongside rookie driver Joshua Pearce (Idris).
Becoming a member of Pitt and Idris within the star-studded solid are Javier Bardem, Kerry Condon, Tobias Menzies, Kim Bodnia, and the drivers from the 2023 and 2024 F1 seasons. Directed by Joseph Kosinski, the movie was shot throughout real-life race weekends.
For the reason that launch, there was chatter of a sequel, and Bruckheimer has now confirmed that he has already met with Hamilton, who served as an govt producer, to debate concepts.
“We met with Lewis Hamilton a few weeks in the past, and began speaking about some concepts,” Bruckheimer advised Forbes.
“We’re in London proper now, and we have screened the film twice each night time for the final three nights. We now have the viewers in there, and the primary query I ask them is, ‘What number of of you haven’t seen this film?’ 80% of the palms go up, and it is unbelievable. The opposite 20% have seen it a number of instances. People who have not seen it say, ‘Oh, it isn’t my sort of film.’ It’s your sort of film. It is emotional, enjoyable, and it is a terrific night time out on the theater.”

He added: “When you’re going to make a film about F1, then you definately had higher do it for actual, and that’s what Joe and our complete crew needed to do.
“They spent 4 months coaching in these automobiles, beginning with an F4, then an F2, and at last our automotive. It was an expertise that we could not have accomplished with out F1.
