New Porsche manufacturing unit driver Nico Muller will make his sportscar debut with the German marque at this weekend’s Sebring 12 Hours spherical of the IMSA SportsCar Championship.
Muller, who has been positioned by Porsche on the Andretti Method E staff for the 2024-25 season, will race the client 963 LMDh fielded by the JDC-Miller MotorSports squad alongside full-season drivers Gianmaria Bruni and Tijmen van der Helm.
The drive within the second spherical of IMSA 2025 seems to place Muller in rivalry for the vacant seat alongside Nick Tandy and Felipe Nasr within the third manufacturing unit Porsche Penske Motorsport 963 entered for the Le Mans 24 Hours World Endurance Championship spherical.
The 33-year-old follows fellow manufacturing unit Porsche driver Pascal Wehrlein in racing for JDC-Miller this 12 months: the 2023-24 FE world champion contested the season-opening Daytona 24 Hours.
