KANSAS CITY, Mo. – With a voice that transcends the film display and is acquainted to generations of followers, Academy Award winner, actor, producer, director and narrator Morgan Freeman has been named grand marshal of this 12 months’s Pennzoil 400 at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on Sunday, March 16.
“I’m completely thrilled to be chosen because the ranged marshal for the NASCAR race,” Freeman stated. “It’s a real honor to be a part of such an unimaginable custom, and I can’t wait to see the power, ardour and pleasure that fills the monitor. Let’s rev up these engines and make this race unforgettable!”
Freeman has used his plain voice and given life to a number of documentaries about NASCAR, serving to seize the game’s drama and fervour whereas telling the tales of legendary figures and memorable moments which have outlined the game.
The racing motion will get underway at Las Vegas Motor Speedway starting Thursday with the well-known hauler parade down the Las Vegas strip with racing motion starting on Friday, March 14, with the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Sequence race.
The NASCAR Xfinity Sequence race will likely be on Saturday, March 15, adopted by the NASCAR Cup Sequence race on Sunday, March 16.
